So what is the best diet plan really? If you have been trying to find the most successful diet plan of 2009 then you need to look no further. I will explain to you today a way of losing weight which is quick, permanent, unique and works to change the way your body burns fat for the better. This is known as the calorie shifting diet plan, find out why it is the best diet plan to use for quick and permanent weight loss.

The Problem with Low Calorie Dieting

Were you aware that 90% of diets that focus on low calories gain some of the weight back! The reason for this is something known as the dieting rebound effect. The reason people experience this most of the time is actually not their fault but the innate problem with low calorie diets themselves. You see these types of diets actually encourage your body to lower its metabolism and as a result burn less calories every day. This is because your body is always adapting to new circumstances, whatever they may be. When you change your dieting habits around suddenly and reduce what you consume your body triggers its scarcity response and as a result your metabolism scales back its fat burning. This is ironically a protective mechanism that your body does and human bodies have done for many years.

The Best Fat Loss Diet Plan

So how do you effectively resolve this issue and eliminate fat for good? Its simple, calorie shift. The principle behind calorie shifting is that you eat a normal amount of calories, however you are constantly changing from day to day the types of calories you are consuming. This triggers your body to burn more fat because it breaks your body out of its comfort zone. By following the calorie shifting diet plan day by day you effectively train your metabolism to want to burn calories, over the course of the diet you will transform not only your body but the way your metabolism works so you can keep the pounds off permanently!

10 Top Tips For Successful Dieting

By Emma Davies

We all know eating less and exercising more is the key to loosing weight, however this is easier said than done. Equally dieting shouldnt just be anguish, torment and pain otherwise you will not succeed. Here are 10 top tips to change your attitude towards food and help you loose those pounds.

1. Realize the importance of information.

Read magazines and articles in order to find out about the latest facts on healthy eating. When you have the latest information, it will be easier to maintain your determination and to be confident that your weight loss goals can be achieved.

Be inspired.

It is very important that before you begin your weight loss programme to write down your reasons for loosing weight. Having clear goals at the start will make it easier to commit. Loosing weight to improve health problems is a good starting point, it shouldnt just be about looking good. Keep the list close to hand and refer to it regularly to keep you motivated.

Watch what you eat.

Keep a record of your daily consumption of food and drink. If you understand your feeding habits, you can easily trace your areas of difficulty. It is easier to make changes when you watch what you feed yourself. This will make you more conscious of your diet and help you to plan ahead of time.

Ensure that your targets are realistic.

Research has shown that a good way to start is to attempt to lose 10% of your present weight. This can also be broken down to manageable sizes of about 2-3kg per time. It is a good thing if you can maintain your weight. You can get some health benefits if you lose weight gradually over a long period of time. At the beginning of your diet program, break it into steps that can be managed easily. You will have more confidence and assurance and will find it easier to succeed if your goals are reasonable.

Eat moderately and frequently.

You will lose weight if you burn more calories than you consume. This may not be easy if you are continuously hungry. Research has revealed that individuals who eat 4 to 5 small meals daily find it easier to manage their weight. Divide the food that you eat daily into smaller sizes and try not to eat after the evening meal.

Every meal should contain protein.

Diets that are high in protein help you to eat less. This is because fat and carbohydrate are not as satisfying as protein. Protein is usually filling and takes time to digest so be sure to take a lean portion of fish or chicken that will assist in accomplishing this goal. Proteins do not immediately enter directly into the blood stream which alleviates that sugar rush that is connected with diets that have high carbohydrate content.

Most people eat more when distracted.

More often than not you will eat more when you a distracted, try and make sure you set aside a specific time to eat your meals. You will find that you take in less calories and be more conscious of what you are eating. It has been shown that you could take in 40% more calories if sat in front of the TV, or on the move, whilst eating.

You can enjoy your best meals.

It is not always proper to completely do away with your best foods because it is counter-productive in the end. Make sure your best foods are listed on the menu but eat smaller quantities and combine them with other healthier alternatives. Moderation is important.

Find time for some exercise.

Increasing your physical exercise will increase your metabolic rate. You will feel full of energy sleep much better and have a better outlook on life. Joining a keep fit programme will build muscle mass and sculpt your body. Exercising within a group of people has been shown to keep you motivated.

Finally....have confidence in yourself

Do not expect to see changes overnight. It takes time for habits to change. You may even deviate from the diet plan occasionally. Do not be discouraged when this happens. Remind yourself that your ultimate target is to become fitter and have better health. It will be easier to overcome challenges along the way if you continue to think positively.
